Confettura di Visciole – Azienda Agricola Si.Gi.

The sour cherry is a small wild black cherry very common in the Marche hills, dark red in color, blood juice and a distinctly acid taste when fresh. The resulting jam is soft, homogeneous, with an intense ruby red color. Intense aroma of sour cherry and pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Excellent on bread and desserts, it also lends itself to combinations with wild meats or soft cheeses.
